In this week's episode, I have the pleasure of chatting with an expert on navigating the unpredictable waters of teenage life: Sharon Neiss Arbess. Sharon Neiss Arbess is a copywriter turned author, storyteller and resiliency mentor based out of Toronto. Her first book, 'Me and My So-Called Friends' quickly became a favourite in middle school classrooms and set the foundation for a new in-school program: Brave the Waves. Sharon worked with educators, social workers and psychologists to develop a program that builds resiliency in the middle school crowd, based on lessons found within her book. We chatted about: →Embracing non-productive days → The value of support systems → Loving YA novels as grown ups → JOMO vs FOMO →and so much more!
